Nutrition Month Celebration

This is month of July again and of course we are celebrating the Nutrition Month according to the DepEd's Calendar of Activities. The theme for this Nutrition Month Celebration is, "Sa Wastong Nutrisyon ni Mommy, Siguradong Healthy si Baby". It simply states that the good nutrition acquired by the mother makes her baby healthy. Nowadays, the country is facing food shortage, particularly, rice shortage. If you will apply the economics, we can therefore say that the higher the demand... the lower of supply... the higher the price! With this, how can we make sure that all mothers are receiving proper nutrition? Do we really have to blame the government for this global issue? Well... in some cases, we can always make remedy on that! I believe that all mothers in the world will find a way for their child to become healthy and strong. And I also believe that there are agency's that will help the people to overcome the malnutrition in the country.

With the DepEd Memo. no. 79 s. 2008, all schools in the country must celebrate the Nutrition Month. Hence, the TLE Teachers of Palo National High School, Florenda N. Salazar, Anita V. Ecito, Ma. Nena T. Lepon and Ernani S. Fernandez made an activities for the students which will also focus on some skills in Technology and Livelihood Education.

The following are the activities set for this celebration:
