The Palo National High School finally organized the
Innovative Classroom Tutors (ICT) Club for the school year 2013 – 2014. The ICT Club is composed of highly proficient
students in information and communication technology who passed the ICT
assessment last month of July. Members will attend series of trainings in
computer, specifically on the use of ICT tools in academics and in the real
world learning and experience. These ICT
tools can be downloaded from Microsoft Partners In Learning Network. This will enrich their skills in using
technology and integrate it to their academics.
Innovative classroom tutors will spearhead the ICT peer tutoring and in
the implementation of the project-based learning in Business Technology, “What
Makes Accounting Exciting?.”
August 9, 2013, 9:00 AM, the ICT Club members met
at the Computer Laboratory of the school and organized the club and planned for
the implementation of the ICT project this school year 2013-2014.
The objectives of the project are the following:
- Acquire the knowledge and skills in basic accounting with information and communication technology integration.
- Develop instructional materials with the use of ICT tools that will enhance student’s performance in business and accounting.
- Apply basic knowledge in business and accounting for real world learning and experience.
